    Soak lentils 20 min. 2. Add lentils to a pot with 9 cups water or broth; cook covered 20 min. 3. Uncover and add onion, cabbage, carrots, garlic and cumin seeds. 4. Cook uncovered 10-15 min, adding spinach in the last 2-3 min. 5. Season with dulse. Serve.
