Ingredients (for 4 servings)
- 8 oz โ bowtie (farfalle) pasta – use chickpea or lentil-based pasta for extra protein
- 1 whole โ head broccoli, chopped into small florets
- 1 cup โ firm tofu – the base of the creamy sauce
- 1 whole โ ½ cup nutritional yeast – adds cheesy flavor and protein
- 1 cup โ unsweetened plant milk (organic soy or pea milk for higher protein)
- 2 tbsp โ lemon juice
- 1 tsp โ garlic powder
- 1 tsp โ onion powder
- 1 whole โ ½ tsp turmeric (for color)
- 1 Tablespoon โ hemp seeds
- 1 whole โ pepper, to taste
- 1 Tablespoon โ crushed red pepper
