Smoky Spiced Roasted Chickpeas

01Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat the chickpeas very dry with a clean towel. In a bowl, toss chickpeas with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cumin, sea salt, and cayenne if using. Spread in a single layer on a lined baking sheet. Roast for 30-40 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through, until golden and crisp. Let cool slightly before serving; they will crisp up more as they cool.
